Danger in a Cup

When I first saw this Michael Symon recipe in People Magazine, I thought "there's no way this can taste good." It's chocolate cake that you microwave in a mug for three minutes. Let's be honest, what tastes good after being cooked in the microwave? Well, turns out this doesn't just taste good, it tastes amazing. Oooey gooey warm chocolate cake that takes minutes to make. It's so fast and easy to make, it's kinda dangerous.

In case you can't read the recipe {and please ignore my greasy stains on there}:

INGREDIENTS {makes 4 servings}
8 oz. butter
8 oz. dark chocolate, chopped {I used what I had, which was semi-sweet chocolate chips}
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. orange zest {which I didn't have}
whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

1. Put butter and chocolate in a glass bowl. Microwave for 1 minute on highest setting. Stir until melted {my chocolate chips never fully melted, so I had some floating in my cake, which was fantastic.}
2. In another bowl, whisk together sugar and next four ingredients. Whisk in chocolate mixture. Divide among 4 {10 oz} mugs.
3. Place mugs in microwave and cook for 3 minutes on highest setting. Let cool 30 seconds. Top with whipped cream.
