Turkey Talk, Black Friday and #GivingTuesday

Hello all! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was full of family and friends and turkey and singing. And my Black Friday was VERY successful. Even though I had a bad bad cold, I schlepped out to the Camarillo Outlet mall for some deals and steals.  Everything at the J. Crew outlet was 50% off, so I snagged this little leopard sweater, along with a few more statement necklaces and a striped blouse {my wardrobe now has enough leopard, stripes and statement necklaces to stretch from here to Kentucky.} I also snagged these incredible Current Elliot pants for a steal at $47. My only regret is that they only had one pair left - I would have bought 5 if I could have.

So in the midst of all this gluttony, both food and fashion wise, I'm glad that today is Giving Tuesday - a time to think of others who could use your support and donate whatever you are able to. It's a day to be grateful for all the gifts I have in life {a warm and happy place to sleep at night, food in my belly when I need it, the greatest puppy and husband to snuggle with at night, loving friends} and to share with those who can use it. In our house, we are huge supporters of Los Angeles Children's Hospital and all the amazing work they do... So whatever group or organization or charity you support, I hope you consider helping them out today on Giving Tuesday!
